Ondenc
The Ondenc grape is predominantly used in the Gaillac region in Southern France, because of a decline in usage in other regions, such as Bordeaux, which is due to low yield and high susceptibility to the fruits rotting. However, this grape is in the process of a small revival!
This is a white grape variety which produces citrus-flavoured, full bodied and high acidity wines. They are best served chilled and the best pairings include white meats and fish.
